Spinal Flow Technique
Beautiful Spinal Flow healing session aims to help the brain reconnect with the body.
What is Spinal Flow® Technique?
The body has within it an energy system that has an intelligence of its own that wants to keep us free from suffering, fatigue and stress. Spinal Flow® Technique is a fast, effective way to heal from pain, dis-ease and illness by assisting people in moving from the zone of stress to the zone of healing by releasing stresses and blockages in their body through a spinal wave. It combines the science and wisdom of the nervous system, with the absolute knowing and trust in the body’s intelligence and ability to heal.
The Spinal Wave is at the heart of Spinal Flow Technique, waiting to flow through the body to allow the body’s innate healing intelligence to flow. The Spinal Wave connects all 7 gateways of the spine and unleashes profound wellbeing in the body.
Spinal Flow Technique practitioners help transform people experiencing symptoms ranging from pain, depression, anxiety, headaches, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and more.
Symptoms of pain, disease and illness are caused by blockages within the spine. Blockages could be from physical, emotional or chemical stresses resulting in static interferences within the energy flow within the spine.
Spinal Flow® Technique uses 33 access points, found mostly in the sacrum, coccyx and cranium. Any one or more of these points are accessed during a session to generate the spinal wave to create relief and integration within the nervous system to bring it back to center.
You will feel completely relaxed during the process. You may feel a gentle wave travel through your spine or you may want to take deep breaths or have sensations of tingling or twitching occurring in your body. You may also have a general sense of just wanting to fall asleep during the session. Sometimes during these sessions, emotional responses occur.
After the treatment, you’ll likely feel relaxed and this may last until your next session. It’s also possible for symptoms to temporarily worsen or for emotions to surface. This is a normal part of your body releasing old patterns and creating healthier ones.
There are 3 phases of Spinal Flow Care
Each client is given a treatment plan that is unique to them
Focused Healing Phase:
Every client begins their healing journey in the Focused Healing Phase, where healing sessions are scheduled as frequently and as close together as possible. This approach is designed to serve two primary purposes: to accelerate the healing process and to prevent the body from accumulating additional stress.
The duration of the Focused Healing Phase varies for each individual, depending on their symptoms, the presence of spinal blockages, the levels of stress in their body, and how they respond to treatment. While this phase may seem overwhelming due to the frequency of sessions, it is a temporary but essential stage in your healing journey, specifically designed to kickstart your body’s natural healing process and help you feel better as quickly as possible.
We understand that dealing with health symptoms can be challenging, and the desire to recover swiftly is natural; therefore, this phase is crucial for accelerating your recovery. Once your body begins to show signs of improvement, we will transition you to the next phase of treatment.

Holistic Wellness Phase:
As the Focused Healing Phase winds down and healing progresses, clients transition to the Holistic Wellness Phase. During this phase, your body begins to sustain its healing progress between sessions. We gradually space out the frequency of sessions while carefully monitoring your continued progress. The goal is to ensure that your body can maintain its healing with fewer sessions.
If your body continues to progress, you’ll remain in this wellness phase for a duration unique to you. This phase will last until all spinal blockages have diminished, achieving a continuous spinal flow and an improved state of health. However, if new symptoms arise or blockages begin to harden again, it may indicate the need to briefly return to the intensive care phase. We will revisit that phase until your body is ready to advance to the wellness phase again.
The Holistic Wellness Phase is about finding the right balance for your body, spacing out sessions while ensuring continuous progress. It’s important to remember that healing is not always linear, and some regression is normal. The body may temporarily hold onto blockages or symptoms, signaling it needs more time to release them. With patience and consistent Spinal Flow healing sessions, your body will eventually move forward and continue its journey to optimal health.

Sustained Wellness Phase:
Once spinal blockages have been fully reduced and a continuous spinal flow is established, clients enter the Sustained Wellness Phase. During this phase, we typically begin with weekly treatments to ensure the body maintains its healing progress. As your body stabilizes, we gradually extend the interval between sessions while closely monitoring for any signs of recurring symptoms or blockages.
Your Sustained Wellness Phase will be personalized to your needs. Some clients may continue with weekly sessions, others might require visits every two weeks, and some may need sessions at even longer intervals. This phase is tailored to fit your individual healing pattern.
While it’s impossible to completely eliminate stress, we aim to minimize it and keep your body healthy. If you notice any symptoms reappearing during this phase, please schedule an appointment promptly for a spine re-evaluation. Addressing stress and blockages quickly will help maintain your optimal health and well-being.

frequently asked questions
What does a Spinal Flow® healing session feel like?
Spinal Flow® healing sessions are very safe and gentle. We use very gentle and precise physical touch on specific points on the cranium and sacrum. These are called “access points” and give the practitioner a direct pathway to the nervous system or what we like to call the “master controller” of the body. During a spinal flow session, clients say they feel relaxed and that they feel very connected to their bodies. Some clients say a healing session feels like a deep meditation, others find the experience simply indescribable.
What happens during a Spinal Flow® healing session?
The majority of a Spinal Flow® healing session will be conducted face down. During the session, clients are encouraged to focus on different areas of their spine so that more awareness is developed over time. We discourage going to sleep during a session as we want you to be an active participant in your health and healing. Being connected to your body is one way to help achieve this.
Who can have Spinal Flow®?
We treat clients of all ages with various health issues . The gentle Spinal Flow® technique is accessible to everyone, providing benefits for all. Since no one is entirely free from stress, the body often stores the stress in the spinal cord to manage later. Regular Spinal Flow® sessions help release these stored stresses, promoting ongoing health and well-being.
What is the Spinal Flow® wave?
The Spinal Wave is inside all of us – a wave that equals ease, life force and a profound connection to who we really are – flowing freely through the spine. It is the body’s innate and natural movement of the spine, and it can grow to generate more healing and more energy through Spinal Flow Technique™. The Spinal Wave has three forms – a breathing wave, a sensing wave and a moving wave. Often the wave is so slight it may be difficult to even notice unless you pay very close attention or have a very high awareness of your own internal physiology. The goal of Spinal Flow Technique™ is to allow more healing, more wave, more energy by connecting the body to its innate wisdom to heal. Many clients comment on being able to feel something inside them and report feeling a deeper connection to their body.
Does Spinal Flow® involve physical manipulation / adjustments or cracking?
Spinal Flow® is a very gentle, non-invasive technique where only light touch is necessary. We are simply reminding your body to tap into its own innate healing ability, empowering it to clear blockages with ease which then allows vertebrae to move freely and realign even with serious physical issues such as scoliosis.

How many sessions will I need to heal?
Addressing the duration and progress of healing is complex and varies greatly depending on several factors. These include the reasons for seeking treatment, the severity of symptoms, the current state of the nervous system, the level of stress in one’s life, and individual responses to healing sessions.
Healing timelines differ for each person. While some may experience rapid improvement, most individuals require multiple sessions over a period of time to achieve results. Regardless of the pace, every change, no matter how small, is considered progress. This could manifest as a reduction in symptoms, a decrease in spinal blockages, an increase in flow, or changes in chemical, physical, and emotional stress layers within the body.
It’s important to understand that healing is a journey that unfolds uniquely for each individual. Acute injuries may heal more swiftly than chronic conditions that have persisted for years. Each person’s healing journey is as unique as they are, and their commitment to their health plays a crucial role.
Frequent sessions conducted close together often expedites the healing process. The more consistent and regular the sessions, the faster one can progress toward full health and wellbeing.
This is usually why we treat our client’s in three phases:
Focused Healing Phase
Holistic Wellness Phase
Sustained Wellness Phase
